Rocio was born in Guadalajara, Mexico from a union between a Sporting Goods Businessman and a Dentist. She inherited both brains and athletic ability! She clearly has the genetics to be a good runner, outpacing Jason at will, even without any heavy training. She’s a petite package of endurance and speed. All she needs now is the will to do the training required to be a runner.
Rocio got degrees in Accounting and eventually found herself working for Monsanto in St. Louis. She found her way to Team Flash thru Jason. She married into the ‘Flash’ nickname in April, 2009.
She remains a probationary member of Team Flash until she completes a half marathon. Until then, she is our yoga, core, and stretching guru and designated marathon support staff!
