Team Flash is an organization dedicated to helping motivate its members to participate in running. There are no dues, no obligations, and no membership requirements other then having a nickname of “Flash.” Or wanting to have the nickname “Flash.” Or liking “The Flash” comic book character. Our meetings (when they do happen) are simple:
“Hey Flash”
“How are you Flash?”
“You rock Flash!”
No one should ever forget anyone else’s name 
We have no single team logo. Each member has a running shirt with the text “Team Flash” and their name. But the centerpiece of the shirt is the personalized logo. Each member designs, draws, or steals their logo and uses it for their own.
The organization’s main goal is to have its membership complete a 1/2 marathon or longer in all 50 states and in all six continents. Our progress is shown below. Blue denotes a marathon or longer finished in the state or continent while red denotes a half marathon completed. We’ve just started this thing so we’re fairly early in the process. Not every member has to do all 50 states and all the continents, just the collective membership. What’ya think—we’re crazy?! Well maybe some of us are…
